How many people can the Celtic House accommodate?

420 for a wedding with a dance floor. We typically do not set up any tables on the dance floor because then we have to tear them down before dancing. When we set up tables on the dance floor then tear them down later in the evening – some of your guests do not have a place to sit and may get irritated.

What is included in the rental fee?

All day venue access 10am-12:30am - Fine china and stemware for entire event - Floor length white or ivory tablecloths and napkins - All tables and banquet chairs - Complimentary cutting and serving of cake - Dedicated on–site wedding coordinator to assist with details - Complimentary one–hour rehearsal ceremony.

Is there a space at the venue for us to get ready?

Yes! We have a bridal suite on site.

Is there a food and beverage minimum?

Yes, ask your coordinator!

Do you have Friday, Sunday, Off season pricing?

Yes, our peak season is April-October and our off season is November-March. Ask your coordinator for pricing.

How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?

$1,500.00 is due to secure the date. The deposit is non-refundable but does go towards your final balance.

Are we able to have a rehearsal ceremony? Is this an additional cost?

A one-hour rehearsal ceremony is included in your room rental if you are married on site.

What is the tax and service charge?

Our service fee is 22% and Wisconsin state sales tax is 5.5%

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Any additional costs would be incurred if the couple would like to rent in décor or wanted any upgrades available on our menu.

Do you have a ceremony spot? Is this an additional cost?

Yes we do, our outdoor ceremony spot is on our double deck balcony that overlooks our 18th green. There is an additional rental fee for this space.

Is there a cake cutting fee?

No, this is included in the rental of the space.

Do you offer an on-site coordinator? Who will be our point of contact during the planning process and on our wedding day?

Yes we do, we have a dedicated wedding coordinator on-site to help from the moment you book through the night of your wedding. Her name is Katy. Check out our wedding blog to learn more about what she does. Also check out our meet the team section!

Is there parking on-site? Is it complimentary?

Yes and yes!

How many weddings or events do you do in one day?

ONE! Each couple is given 100% of our attention the day of their wedding.

Do you have a list of approved or recommended vendors we can use?

We have a preferred vendor list. No vendor pays to be on our preferred vendor list. We recommend vendors we have worked with who have proven themselves to be professional, prompt, reliable and deliver fantastic work.

Do you have an in-house caterer?

All food and beverage is handled by Glen Erin Golf Club – NO outside food or beverage is allowed.

Are there any restrictions at your venue? (i.e. time restrictions, noise restrictions, décor restrictions, etc)

The room rental includes all day access to the venue 10am-12:30am the next morning. The client does not need to worry about cleaning up or taking anything with them the night of their event – they are welcome to come back the next day before 12pm to pick up their belongings. We require all cards and gifts to be taken and anything of value to the client. No taper candles are allowed, no loose glitter, no confetti, no sparklers, no sky lanterns. If anything requires to be hung for the event we do not allow holes in the wall. The client is responsible for any damage to the walls or paint.
