  • "I don't even know where to start. 2020 was a crazy year. Our original wedding date was in April at another (awful) venue. After cancelling due to COVID we were SO excited to find out Glen Erin had the date we were rescheduling for open. After the mask mandate came into play and cases increased in the area we decided to postpone our reception again to next July. They made this process so easy and were very accommodating. We still had our wedding there in September on the 18th green with a small group of people and an intimate dinner on the patio. Everyone LOVED this. We got so many compliments on how great it turned out and how beautiful the venue was. Katy made everything so easy and answered all of my 5000 questions. We cannot wait to FINALLY have our reception here next year. I will absolutely update this review after that. Thank you so much Glen Erin (especially Katy)!"

  • "After talking with several other couples who are getting married this year and attending several weddings in the last few years, I hands down believe we picked THE BEST VENUE with Glen Erin's Celtic Room. Where do I even begin?! Our wedding was originally scheduled for June, later to be postponed to July 24. During the whole process Katy (the coordinator at Glen Erin) was right there to answer our questions and help us with our concerns. The entire staff was great to work with! What other venue offers to help you set up and take down your decorations?! The night of the wedding we didn't take down any decorations, in fact they packed up all of our decorations after the wedding for us! Even better, they told us we could take the rest of the weekend to enjoy and we picked up our decorations on Monday! When we arrived they were all perfectly packed up and ready to go, it made the take down process SO EASY! Besides being super accommodating, this venue provided a great view, awesome patio for guests to hang out on, excellent food and a completely stress free day!"

  • "My husband and I got married during the pandemic - a very hectic and crazy time for sure. Our original venue fell through with all of the uncertainty. We were sooo close to moving our wedding to next year, but Glen Erin came to the rescue. They laid out all of the guidelines we would need to follow (which our original venue could NOT), communication seemed to be instant with them, and they were able to find a solution to any problem or request we had. Katy was amazing and such a wonderful coordinator. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Our guests loved being able to watch golfers come in on the 18th hole, loved having the THREE outdoor patios during cocktail hour and the reception, and the food was great, with so many options to choose from. I am so happy we had our wedding at Glen Erin and would recommend this venue to ANYONE in the Southern Wisconsin/Northern Illinois region."

  • “I honestly don't even know where to start with my review for Glen Erin. My husband and I booked with them prior to them even breaking ground on their new banquet facility, but not once did I ever feel nervous about the outcome. They kept in great communication regarding the status of the building, when we could come do our Tasting, we were welcome to come tour at any point during the week or weekend, as many times as I wanted. When the facility was finished, I was literally breathless. The views are AMAZING! Everything is so beautiful and the details that have been put in have made decorating effortless. Now, let me tell you about Katy. I work in Human Resources, so I have a lot of party planning duties defaulted to me for work functions. I have NEVER worked with someone so dedicated and wonderful in my entire life. She was willing to do anything I asked, at any time (even decorate and put up all my centerpieces!!) She even fluffed my dress as I was walking down the aisle! Anything custom that I was debating, she made it happen. I cannot say enough great things about her, seriously. I wish she could have planned my whole wedding for me, and stood as a bridesmaid. (is that too much?! :) ) Glen Erin honestly made what was already going to be a great day, truly incredible. Every staff member I encountered was polite, helpful, and pleasant and they were all willing to go above and beyond for me, which is the best thing a bride could ask for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our wedding so wonderful!”
